Garden of Memories

Want a unique and environmentally friendly way to memorialize a loved one?

The Township offers a garden where you can plant a tree, bush or shrub and place a memorial plaque if you like, to note the memorial. A pine tree planted to honor all the Township veterans who have served our country all over the world is in the center of the garden. Other plantings surround this pine tree in a layout designed by Greg Gulden of Suncrest Gardens.

If you are interested in a planting, please call the Township office. You will be given a copy of the design and a listing of acceptable plants/trees. You may choose whatever you wish from the list within your price range. You may also see a sample of the memorial plaque to decide whether or not to purchase that. In addition to the Garden of Memories, opportunities to plant trees abound in our parks. We should be able to find something to suit your taste and budget.
