You may register to vote either in person at the Old County Prison,
or by mail by obtaining an application form at the township building. This application
must be received by the County Board of Elections at least 30 days prior
to the election.
To be eligible to vote, you must be at least 18 years of age on or before
the election in which you with to vote, and be a citizen of the United States
for at least one month, a resident of Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, and
your election district for at least 30 days. You must re-register to vote if
you move or have not voted at least once during the last two calendar years.
Voter registration is complete when you receive a Voters Identification Card
from the County.
